THERAPISTS

“Our client’s problem is that they have lost rapport with their unconscious mind. Our job is to help restore that relationship.”Milton Ericson (psychiatrist)

What makes us different?

Our approach to hypnotherapy aims to align subconscious thinking with conscious thinking, eliminating internal mental conflicts that may lie at the heart of undesired behaviours. Whilst we practice a sound implementation of hypnosis as taught by the “old masters” of the art, we also integrate a modern, effective and unique methodology known as 5-PATH ®. Developed by the highly esteemed psychotherapist Cal Banyan, 5-PATH ® combines a variety of modern techniques chosen for their lasting effect on individuals that have undergone treatment.

Please feel free to contact us for more information on what we offer. Our Services section also contains a more complete listing of the range of services we provide and conditions we cater for.

I am a therapist with over 30 years experience in human services. Originally trained in Germany, I completed a Diploma in Education and began my career as a Children’s and Youth Counsellor/Educator in the late 70’s.
After immigrating to Australia I continued to work with children in the role of director at several early learning child care centres, predominately in the Perth region. During that time I expanded my knowledge in areas of human behavior, learning and mental health by completing additional postgraduate degrees at a renowned Western Australian University, successfully obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Health Counselling, as well as a Masters Degree of Health Counselling.

Sometime later I started working for one of the largest and most respected social service providers in Western Australia where I currently still work with families in high conflict who are going through the family court process.

Consequently, I have extensive experience in mediating in family conflict situations and have specialized in resolving mental health issues which often accompanies these types of conflicts, as well as the provision of psycho educational training to individuals or couples.

I am a qualified 5 Path Hypnotherapist, in my private life I am committed to the practice of Buddhism, which stresses that each person, no matter what their situation, has the power to overcome their life’s challenges, to live a life of value and become a positive influence in their community, society and the world. This inherent respect and belief in others potential strongly reflects many of my own values and ethics.

Finally, I believe it is important to mention that I have been married for 23 years and have a grown up daughter. I am, therefore, no stranger to the challenges of bringing up children and know what it takes to maintain lasting relationships.

Please note that I work in private practice from home in Fremantle.
My address is available on request.
