Hi Barbara

Last week I emailed to say that I didn’t think the second treatment (Tesla device) worked as I didn’t notice any differences. I actually would like to change that. The last week and half I have had a lot more energy, more motivation, waking up early. Its been great and I think that second treatment was the reason.

Thanks so much for trialling that with me and I would definitely be interested in having another session in that.

Hi Barbara,
I has been 3 days since I came to see you for hypnotherapy and the bonus Tesla radiant light machine.

I can unequivocally say that the hypnotherapy has changed my outlook/daily life for the better, and delivered on the important things I asked for.

I was feeling negative, pessimistic and tired before I saw you and after the treatment I have been feeling positive, optimistic and energetic.

Even though I can’t control everything in life (like the weather for instance) my enthusiasm for exercise is back, and that’s what I needed and wanted the most.

As for the Tesla machine … who knows?! I checked for info online and, just as you said, the evidence is a bit flimsy!

Having said that, I do feel good since I sat in front of it and, like you, I am just as inclined to trust my instinct as I am to trust empirical evidence.

I would definitely like to come again for more hypnotherapy in the future and I look forward to learning more from you.

I know it hasn’t even been a full week since our session but WOW the changes that start happening – I’m honestly  so overwhelmed!!

I completely stopped over eating and don’t even feel like any sweets nor junk food!! We just had a morning tea with 10 different cakes to choose from and little party pies, sausage rolls etc  and it just didn’t interest me AT ALL to even have a bite!!  I even had my work friends asking me if there was anything wrong and I was feeling ok… hehehe as it defiantly was unseen for me to pass on any food! Lol

I never noticed how much my bad eating had impact on my inner wellbeing and happiness!! I’m so excited of things to come knowing I can stick to my decision making and reaching my goals!! YEAYYYYY!  For me to stop over indulging means I have no need to over train!!

which means I have so much more ENERGY right now! I can’t get a smile of my face from the moment I left your office! I’m loving life and with that so much positive things started to happen!! One of the main ones I got offered an amazing role with benefits within the same company I am with at the moment!! Not sure if me feeling soooooooooo great had anything to do with it ….. either way I just wanted to THANK YOU so so so  much for what you achieved with me! My words cannot express how much I appreciate it and how happy I am right now!!

Your web site was brought to my attention when a friend and colleague saw an article about Adaptation Practice on it. I am impressed by your work and by your site.The account you give of AP is unusually clear and insightful: most people don’t ‘get it’ so easily. There is one point that invariably needs adding: unlike the new wave of interest in mindfulness, which is like becoming a fly on the wall, an observer of life, and of thoughts and feelings as if they were clouds in the sky, AP positively engages in whatever is being done and with the accompanying emotions, rather than observing them and letting them go. When upset it is to be upset but not to be overwhelmed by it; when annoyed or angry it is to be annoyed or angry but not to complain or lose our temper; when saddened or depressed it is to be sad and depressed but not to slow down, withdraw or collapse because of it; and when frightened or anxious it is to be frightened or anxious but not to try to hide or run away. As you rightly say, AP is the opposite of CBT, and so it is virtually the opposite of MBCT as well, because where they are passive and disengaging, AP is at all times active and engaging in life and the living of life. The way of AP develops inner strength and insight and, most importantly, transforms emotion by taming it. I shall follow your work with interest. Hi Jorg

It has been a while since I met with you last time. I thought I would drop you a line to let you know I am doing really well. I have got the balance back in my life I was seeking when I booked a session with you. I am sleeping really well still, am steadily losing weight (sometimes plateauing for a month or so  - but even in these times am keeping a food diary to make sure I am being true to myself). The most significant change is I now get up at 5:15am to go to the gym (most days) to increase my fitness and overall health. I would not be able to do this prior to meeting you as the hypnosis really fixed my insomnia. Fixing the insomnia really did unlock the things that were holding weight loss back!  Thanks so much – I will touch base with you as I make more progress.

Everything is going really well, in fact I am quite amazed. I am loving food, especially fruit and salad although I am eating only small portions. I jumped on the scales this morning and have already lost 2.5kg, I know that this is mostly water, but still very encouraging. You mentioned something at the session and on CD about red being special to me, red is my favourite colour and I do have quite a lot in my home, but weirdly I now find myself smiling at traffic lights and red cars. I have my first gym session today and am excited and looking forward to it.

I am fine, thank you.   I felt somewhat overwhelmed with emotion yesterday but today feel really grounded (and calm), probably the first time ever that I can remember feeling that I have my feet firmly planted on the floor!

So far things seem to be improving. Few panicy moments.. but a lot less.. The CD seems to work as well. I don’t think I’ve had a bad night’s sleep since I’ve been using it.

Since our session the other day I have been going well thanks. I haven’t had a chance to listen to the CD in full but I have listened to it while in bed and it relaxes me. I certainly feel more at ease now and feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

Things have improved since the last time visit, I feel more confident and enjoying life a bit more. I think my mind is distracted with other things, so my anxiety is pretty much under control. Sometimes I have an inner argument between positive and negative thoughts but
I think the understanding of FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real… really helps my mind to be under control. It sends a message saying, that this is just fear, and so it is nothing to worry about.

I managed wonderfully well, in places and circumstances that would have caused me shear panic and fear. I am feeling much better since our session on Friday.  In particular I feel a lot more in control of things now.  I have been listening to your CD before going to sleep at night and I think that is having a positive effect too.

The first few days I felt horrible with physical withdrawals but after the first week I seemed to get back to normal a bit. I haven’t even been tempted to smoke which is good. I have used the CD as instructed. Last night I decided to spend the evening enjoying the CD and cooking myself some ‘healthy’ food and ate it in accordance with what you said on the CD.

I felt satisfied with the meal and although the negative thoughts started to say things like “Let’s get food, I need a snack”, I was able to distract myself and managed to just have some water instead.

I feel so proud of myself because when I am home alone like that, I usually can’t control myself. This is a great victory and I can trust myself with my emotions and the attached cravings. Again I cannot thank you enough for your help with this.
